These two posters were created for a branding course.
Rachel Getting Married is about a girl, Kym, who returns home for her sister’s wedding after being in rehab for nine months. The poster’s design represents the contrast between the elegance of the wedding and the unease Kym creates.
El Espíritu de la Colmena, meaning The Spirit of the Beehive, is about a seven-year-old girl, Ana, living through the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War. I used a scene of the movie where Ana collects mushrooms to depict reality versus the fantasy world of a child.
